The engine

How LNCP works.

What is LNCP?
LNCP stands for Lexical Numerical Cognitive Protocol. It is the measurement engine that powers every Quirrely VIP product. It reads any body of written text and returns a scored fingerprint across five dimensions: Force, Stability, Mediation, Structure, and Range. Each dimension is scored 0–100. The result is a precise, reproducible cognitive signature of the writing.
Is this AI? Is it a language model?
No. LNCP is a deterministic measurement engine built on 110+ linguistic patterns and 19 voice markers. It does not use a language model to generate scores. Given the same corpus, it will return the same scores every time. That reproducibility is what makes it useful for comparative analysis — you are measuring against a fixed instrument, not a probabilistic model.
What does the AI signal detection actually detect?
The LNCP engine identifies patterns in the fingerprint that are statistically consistent with AI-generated text — particularly flat stability scores, near-zero mediation, and low dimensional variance. Human writing produces uneven profiles. Purely generated text tends toward unusual evenness. The signal is reported as clean, hybrid, or AI-generated. It is a diagnostic flag, not a verdict.
How many possible voice fingerprints are there?
Five dimensions scored 0–100 produces 10,510,100,501 possible voice signatures. The 19 voice markers produce 524,288 possible marker state combinations on top of that — the fingerprint space is effectively infinite. In practice this means two voices that appear similar on the surface will produce measurably different profiles. The engine has the resolution to find the difference.
What are the five dimensions?
Force — assertiveness and declarative weight. How hard the language pushes. Stability — consistency of register and tone across the full corpus. Mediation — interpretive presence. How much the writer shapes meaning for the reader. Structure — syntactic complexity and architectural density. Range — lexical breadth and variability. How wide the vocabulary draws.
Can the engine be fooled or gamed?
Not easily. The engine measures structural and lexical properties of the writing — not surface-level word choice. Writing that attempts to artificially inflate a Force score, for example, will produce other signature changes that appear in the fingerprint. The five dimensions interact. You cannot move one without moving the others.
The analysis

What you receive.

What does the two-layer output look like in practice?
Every Quirrely product delivers two layers. The first layer is a summary verdict — a cross-unit synthesis that fires automatically and is always visible without interaction. For Signal, this is a brand character read across all channels. For Brief, it is a contact read. For Fit, it is a pool verdict. For Lens, it is a comparative read. The second layer is a per-unit deep read — per channel, per outlet, per candidate, or per contact — available on demand. Both layers are included in every delivered analysis.
What does a Signal analysis actually contain?
A scored fingerprint for each channel submitted — Force, Stability, Mediation, Structure, and Range per channel. A channel variance table showing where your brand voice holds and where it drifts. AI signal detection per channel. A voice characterisation — profile, stance, register, and a voice line for each channel. A written strategic read: what the scores mean, what the variance means, and what to do about it. In competitive mode, a peer benchmarking table comparing your brand against up to five competitors across all dimensions.
What does a Brief output contain?
A full LNCP fingerprint on the submitted writing. Profile, stance, and register assignment. A voice line — one sentence that captures the cognitive signature of the writing. A contact read — the strategic implication of the profile and a tactical move for the engagement. A three-part engagement guide: How They Receive, How to Engage, and What to Avoid.
What does a Lens output contain?
Three scored outlet voices for your query topic — each honestly labelled for the detected beat. A full LNCP fingerprint per outlet. AI signal detection per outlet. A comparative written read across all three voices — how the same story reads differently depending on which editorial voice is covering it, and what that means for how your story lands in each outlet.
What does a Fit output contain?
A pool summary verdict — a cross-candidate read that names the standout, the concern, and the dominant pattern across the pool. A dual fingerprint per candidate — employer voice and applicant writing scored independently. A cognitive alignment score. A dimension-by-dimension comparison. A written alignment read per candidate: where the voices converge, where they diverge, and what the gap means in practical terms for the role.
How is the analysis delivered?
As a single document. No portal, no login, no dashboard. Signal analyses include a review session within 7 days of delivery. Lens, Brief, and Fit are delivered as standalone documents. For platforms and enterprise buyers integrating Quirrely VIP outputs into existing workflows, data output formats are available — this is scoped in the intake conversation.
Is the analysis reproducible?
Yes. The LNCP engine is deterministic. The same corpus submitted twice will return the same scores. This makes before-and-after comparisons — post-rebrand, post-campaign, post-agency change — genuinely meaningful. The delta is real because the instrument is fixed.

The platform

How it fits into how you work.

Who is Quirrely VIP for?
Three primary buyers. Agency principals who need scored voice data to anchor client brand reviews, pitches, and campaign debriefs. CMOs whose brand voice drifts between channels and who need to see the gap quantified before the next campaign ships. Dealmakers — sales leads, biz dev principals, partnership heads — who walk into new rooms without a read on the voice across the table.
How is this different from brand voice guidelines or tone of voice documents?
A tone of voice document describes what the brand should sound like. Quirrely VIP measures what it actually sounds like — across every channel, against every competitor, right now. The two are not in conflict. Quirrely VIP gives you the scored evidence to write a better brief, validate whether the guidelines are being followed, and demonstrate the impact of a brand refresh in measurable terms.
Can I use Quirrely VIP for clients if I am an agency?
Yes — and agencies are one of the three core buyer profiles. Signal competitive mode is well suited to the 1:many agency model: one analysis covering a client and their full peer set, ready to go into a brand review or pitch. If you are submitting on behalf of a client, you confirm that you have the authorisation to do so.
Does Quirrely VIP work for any industry or category?
Yes. The LNCP engine measures structural and lexical properties of language — it does not require industry-specific calibration. It has been applied to B2B technology, professional services, hospitality, and media. The five dimensions are universal. A Force score of 83 means the same thing whether it appears in enterprise software copy or a restaurant brand.
What languages does the engine support?
Currently English only. The LNCP engine is calibrated on English-language linguistic patterns and markers. Expansion to other languages is on the roadmap. If you are working with non-English copy, contact us — we can advise on what is and is not reliable with the current engine.
Is Lens available now?
Yes. Lens is the first live Quirrely VIP product. Tell us the story you want profiled — the engine reads the voices underneath. Three media compared side by side, five scored dimensions each, directional interpretation included, returned within 24 hours. See the Lens page or email hello@quirrely.com to get started.
Is there a self-serve option?
Not currently. Every Quirrely VIP engagement begins with a gateway analysis at USD 2,500 — a complete intelligence output applied to your corpus, scoped in a 30-minute intake conversation before anything is measured. This is deliberate. The quality of the analysis depends on the quality of the corpus and the clarity of the question. The intake conversation is where we make sure you are getting the right product for the right question. DaaS subscriptions follow for clients who want ongoing access.
